Parks and Hiking Thomas F. Riley Wilderness Park Riley Park, also known as Wagon Wheel Park, is a wonderful place to spend a sunny afternoon secluded in nature’s wondrous beauty. Casually passing through the Butterfly Garden maintained by volunteers of the community, hiking or mountain biking one of 7 trails extending a total of 4.6 miles or even horse back riding will leave you feeling at peace. Gorgeous Sycamore and Oak Groves line the Riley Wilderness Park along with many other forms of plant life. Riley Park is also a Wildlife Sanctuary so you may have the pleasure (or fear!) of encountering Mule Deer, Coyote, Bobcat and even Mountain Lions. According to County Ordinance for Wildlife Parks, no dogs are allowed. If you’d like to take your dog to a park, please be sure to only bring your dog to a Regional Park.
